Insurance denied this homeowner's claim. That's where most people stop. We didn't. We went back, took a closer look at the damage, documented everything the right way, and got the claim approved. That's the difference between someone who just does roofing and someone who actually goes to bat for you.

Once the claim was approved, we got to work. Full roof replacement - new shingles across the entire home. But this wasn't a straightforward tear-off and replace. This home had a full solar panel system already installed, which adds a whole layer of complexity most roofing crews aren't equipped to handle properly.

We carefully detached every panel before the roof work began, then reinstalled the entire system once the new roof was down. Doing it right means the panels are seated correctly, the roof penetrations are sealed properly, and the system can keep doing its job without any issues down the road. Cutting corners on something like that creates leaks and voids warranties - we're not interested in that.

The end result is a completely fresh roof with a fully functioning solar array back in place. This homeowner now has a solid, protected structure underneath their solar investment - not a patched-up situation held together by hope. That matters, especially here in Central Texas where the weather doesn't go easy on roofs.

If your insurance claim was denied, it's worth getting a second opinion before you walk away. Insurers don't always get it right on the first pass, and having someone in your corner who knows how to document storm damage properly can completely change the outcome.
